5-2=3
So I started school for the summer on Tuesday. So far not to bad if I wasn't in a math class for 2nd and 3rd graders. My teacher, keep in mind this class starts at 7:40am, tries to crack jokes and get everyone excited about adding 87 and 16. I think I'm the only one answering any of these stupid question. On Tuesday our teacher said a few jokes and even did one in an English accent. Don't ask me what the jokes were because I can't remember, I wasn't laughing, although he did do one that I will not forget. I noticed when he first handed the syllabus to me that his hands were different. His left hand has a thumb, no pointer finger, a middle finger, 1/2 a ring finger and a pinkie. The right I think has them all but 2 of the are in 1/2. So he makes a joke to get people saying something in his class, he asked, "whats 5-2", and he holds up his left hand showing what he has left, a thumb, middle finger and a pinkie and says, "3". That was the only thing that got the whole class laughing. I guess when he was 14 he was mixing sulfur and sugar in science class and it blew up his hands. At least he laughs about it now.
